2020 Live Shows

As the year draws to a close, we’d like to thank everyone who has managed to come out to our live gigs this year. The Three Kings Tour was a big success, and we enjoyed the various other shows we performed across the year immensely. It’s you guys that make it for us, and we will continue to entertain in 2020.

As such, we’re pleased to announce that we already have some bookings in place for next year. Thanks to Upfront Entertainment, we’ll be doing some shows for the New Wellington Inn in Brierley Hill across the year. These are Saturday 1st February, Saturday 16th May, and Saturday 26th September. Further details will follow as we get them.

Secondly, we can confirm we’ll be joining the 2020 line-up for Bozstock on Sunday 24th May. This is a long-standing charity event taking place at a new venue for the coming year – the Oldbury Royal British Legion. The show will be supporting the Royal British Legion and the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

More shows will be announced as they are confirmed. Merry Christmas to you all, and we hope to see you in the new year.

Three Kings Tour – New Date Added

We have recently been installed as a last minute replacement for another rock band at the Cookley Sports Club on Saturday 30th November. We’ll be bringing the full two-hour version of our show to rock out this fantastic venue. Doors at 8.30pm.

Breaking News – Solaris/Oort added to West Street Live show

We’ve just been informed that there will be a fourth act joining us for our first show in Yorkshire at West Street Live.

Solaris/Oort is a new project from Mathew Smith of alt rock band Neuri. Solaris/Oort is described as “industrial soundscapes” and should be a real Christmas treat to add to an already exciting night.

Running order will be confirmed on the night as they join us, CWM and The Parish Church Fire at one of Sheffield’s premier grassroots music venues. This is a free entry event with an after-party until 4am.

29th November – Last Minute Changes

We have a surprise extra support act for the opening show of our Three Kings Tour on Friday 29th November. Opening up for us will be rock covers group Side Effect. To make sure we can give you the full two-hour show we originally planned, we’ll be moving the door time to 7pm. So do get in early if you want to catch these guys.

The Gunmakers Arms is at 93 Bath Street, Birmingham, B4 6HG. This show is still free entry.

Three Kings Tour – final date announcement

We’re absolutely stoked to announce that for the final date of our Three Kings Tour, we’ll be heading out west to Whitchurch. On Sunday 15th December we’ll be opening for SynlakrosS at Percy’s Cafe Bar. Harlequin’s Kiss will be on stage at 8pm, so do get in good and early. Like every date we’ve announced so far, this gig is free entry.

SynlakrosS is a Spanish female fronted band which plays a Melodic Death Metal base with some Nu Metal and Metalcore influences. With their music and thematic lyrics they inject a good dose of energy that transport your mind to a world of adventure with a good deal of rebellion. Sharp riffs and powerful rhythms accompanying a female voice with soft melodies and crazy screams that will caress and shake your eardrums equally.

Further support comes from Secret Elephant, four noisy hooligans from Telford in Shropshire, England, UK making their favourite sounds.

Coalville show changed for Leicester

We’re sorry to announce that our show at the Victoria Bikers Pub is cancelled due to circumstances beyond the band’s control. We do, however, have a replacement show in Leicester. We’re pleased to tell you that the newly-opening Metal Monocle steampunk rock bar has graciously agreed to accommodate us, so it’s still no sleep ’til Christmas as the Three Kings Tour blazes through Leicestershire.

The Metal Monocle is a new venue, opening 25th October, that aims to provide a comfortable and friendly space both for steam punk types to go out in their finery and for rockers to have a drink in their jeans. The Metal Monocle is at 59 Braunstone Gate, Leicester LE3 5YA. (The building has traded previously as The Laundry Bar.)

We’ll be playing a double set over the course of the evening of Saturday 14th December. Doors at 8pm.

We apologise to any fans who now have to travel further to see us that weekend.

The Three Kings Tour

Harlequin’s Kiss are pleased to confirm four dates on our upcoming Three Kings Christmas tour.

To kick off the tour, we’re performing a 2-part set at our office and local, the Gunmaker’s Arms in Birmingham on Friday 29th November. It’s an almost symbolic way to start this run of shows – it was the site of our first ever performance back in the June of 2012. We’ll be joined in the brewery by the Beautiful Barley Boys – an Americana group who performed a storming set before our last show at the Woodman. The Gunmakers Arms is at 93 Bath Street, Birmingham, B4 6HG

On Sunday 8th December we make our debut in Sheffield at West Street Live. This shorter performance will be as part of their regular 5-band Sunday night line-ups. Details and other acts are yet to be confirmed. Watch this space. West Street Live is at 128 West Street, Sheffield, S1 4ES.

On Friday 13th December we return to headline Ye Olde Foundry in Dudley. Again, support acts are to be confirmed. Ye Olde Foundry is on King Street, Dudley, DY2 8NY.

The day after that, on Saturday 14th December, we head up to make another debut – this time at the Victoria Bikers Pub in Coalville, Leicestershire. We’re looking to make this into a big night, and we expect to have some fine support acts with us. Watch this space to find out who they are. The Victoria Bikers Pub is on Whitwick Road, Coalville, LE67 3FA.

These are just preliminary dates and we hope to be making appearances on some nights in between. Keep checking in, and we’ll announce new venues as we confirm bookings.

Support Acts – 4th Oct at the Woodman

Harlequin’s Kiss are pleased to announce that for our forthcoming show at the Woodman, we will be working with not one, but two great acoustic acts.

First up, Hiz n Herz are a new acoustic duo playing a mix of covers and originals. The duo are something of a Birmingham supergroup, consisting of prolific singer/songwriter “Countryboy” Lee Hill, and lead singer-cum-songwriter of Rebel’s Kiss, Su Pollard. Lee and Su are proving to be a songwriting force to be reckoned with, and you don’t want to miss their first ever live show together.

We are also delighted to share a stage with The Beautiful Barley Boys, a folk / Americana trio based in Shropshire. After 4 years gigging at venues and festivals around the UK they released their first EP, ‘Couch’, in November 2016. The songs explore the challenges in navigating life situations and modern relationships. Their live repertoire includes world music (French, Spanish and Portuguese) as well as their own original material.

We would like to stress once again that this show is free entry.
