Harlequin’s Kiss are pleased to announce that they will be joined on 4th May by no less than singer/songwriter Countryboy Lee. Lee has an international following for his country originals and maintains an active online profile as Birmingham’s very own cowboy.

Supporting acts are currently to be confirmed. What we can say is that the show will start at 9pm and run until midnight, and that the show will be free entry. Harlequin’s Kiss have been added at to the bill for the second heat of Birmingham’s Metal 2 the Masses competition. It’s happening tomorrow, Sunday 10th March, in the Hammer & the Anvil at 6pm. Join us, Silence the Crows, Last Agony and Tumanduumband for a wild night showcasing the best of Birmingham metal. The more support we get, the more likely we are to get into the semi finals.

On 13th April 2019, Harlequin’s Kiss will be joining Tyrannosaurus Nebulous and Buzzard for a night of pure rock fury. Details are TBC, but we’re told that the night is going to be free entry. Some of you may remember T. Nebulous from Mayday Meltdown II a few years ago, when we debuted our EP, Playing Rough.
Tyrannosaurus Nebulous are a four piece hard rock band from Stourbridge in the Black Country. They released their face melting E.P. ‘Deal With My Evil’ to rave reviews and extensive worldwide radio airplay. The single ‘TLK’ was playlisted on the UK’s leading rock radio station, Planet Rock for 8 weeks.
Buzzard are increasingly earning a strong reputation for being a live act that not only provide a tight energetic performance, but also encourage fun crowd engagement. Buzzard are an ever evolving interesting live band and pack a big musical punch for three passionate individuals, whom offstage are very approachable down to earth people who love to hang out with fans, meet amazing new people and enjoy good music.

As if our first headline show of the year couldn’t get any bigger, we’re pleased to announce that we’ll be joined by special guests Tear It Down. The Tear It Down crew have shared a stage with us twice before (supporting Fear Me December at the Haygate in Telford, and at one of our headline shows at the Roadhouse in Birmingham), and bring a guaranteed balls-to-the-wall hard rock show with them. Harlequin’s Kiss are pleased to announce their first headline shows for 2019.
On Saturday 9th February, the band will be performing at a new venue, the Woodman in Birmingham city centre. The function room in the upper floor of this venue has a capacity of 50, which will make for an intimate performance where you can get up close and personal with the band. The pub has a friendly atmosphere and a range of guest ales. The pub is open from noon, and the show will start at 7.30pm. Entry to the show will be free. Guest artists will be announced in the New Year. The Woodman is located on New Canal Street (near Millennium Point), B5 5LG.
On Saturday 2nd March, we will finally make our debut at the Barge & Barrel in Tipton. Regulars at the venue will be familiar with us from appearances at their monthly open mic nights, and we’re pleased to be able to treat you to an extended version of our show. We’ll be taking the stage at 9pm, and this will also be a free entry event. The Barge & Barrel is on Bloomfield Road, DY4 9AJ.
JBJ Entertainment have announced support for our upcoming show in aid of Cancer Research at Ye Olde Foundry in Dudley. “Thirsty for Music” will take place on 29th November at 8pm and entry is free.

Zingy hook lines, tangy riffs and vocal harmonies sweeter than honey. Giant and the Georges are dynamic performers, who specialise in composing peculiar yet annoyingly catchy tunes!
Molly-Anne is a young and upcoming musician from Gloucestershire, looking to make an positive impact. With a soulful, country inspired sound fused with elements of indie folk, Molly accompanies herself on the harmonica and acoustic guitar.
Danny McMahon has written commercially for paramount songwriting for a number of years but never saw himself on the front line until he attending Country2Country Festival, London in March 2017. The experience led him to write lyrics that he felt he could only communicate due to the honest and personal nature of his new authentic and melodic sound.
